1.      Define:
a.       Stereotyping : are characteristics ascribing to people involving gender, race, and nationality
b.      Prejudice : the unfavorable feeling formed below hand or without knowledge
c.       Bias : an oblique or diagonal line of direction across a warm fabric
d.      Discrimination :treatment or consideration of
2.      Give an example of each.
1.      When everybody thinks that Italian people have bad accents and love spaghetti that’s a stereotype.
2.      Some people might have a prejudice against all Muslims without knowing enough about Islam.
3.      Some referees of certain football games like one team more than the other and therefore their decisions might be bias.
4.      In the early 1900s there was an extreme amount of discrimination against black people In most parts of the world.

With partners, answer the following:
1.      Where, when and with whom did this experiment take place?
 Third grade class in the 1960s in the mid U.S.A, third grade students
2.      Describe the experiment.
Trying to discriminate between children according to their eye colors to try and teach them not to discriminate , and to show them how it felt to be on the other side of social abuse.
3.      What were the results?
The students felt how it was to be discriminated against
4.      How successful do you believe it was?
I think it was very successful , because whenever one of these kids wanted to discriminate he/she would remember this day.
